WHO WE WORK WITH

Stroke is only one of a number of non-communicable diseases, and Counterstroke Fiji supports the rehabilitation of stroke survivors, and the education and awareness of Fijians on the importance of stroke prevention. It contributes to the national development vision “to achieve a resilient, high-quality, and equitable health system that ensures Universal Health Coverage (UHC), with a core focus on tackling the crisis of non-communicable diseases (NCDs)”. Civil society organisations (CSOs), and especially more formally registered non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are critical partners/bridges in the achievement of national development goals. Counterstroke Fiji also works with Regional and International Organisations.
