We are privileged to welcome Project H.E.A.V.E.N team Nilesh Reddy and Veniana Koro to speak with our stroke survivors at our weekly Talkshop session. One piece of advice that is resonating is that our ears are self-cleaning and so it's best not to use cotton buds which will push the wax back inside.

Every Thursday, when our stroke survivors and volunteers turn up at the NCPD Complex Conference Room for 'Talkshop' it's always joy and laughter, along with a little competition to see whose health stats (BP, blood sugar, weight) have changed, especially for the better.

This month, we're launching a comprehensive awareness campaign to educate communities about stroke prevention, recognition, and recovery. Join us for special events, educational workshops, and community screenings throughout the month.

Counterstroke Fiji delivered a stroke prevention session at Kontiki HQ, sharing key findings from the Fiji 2025 STEPS Survey and raising awareness on risk factors and early detection. As the only Pacific NGO supporting stroke survivors and advocating prevention, the organisation continues working with government and partners, and acknowledged the National Wellness Centre and the late Dr Jemesa Tudravu for their contributions.
