Stroke Day
Stroke Day (often celebrated as World Stroke Day on October 29) is dedicated to raising awareness about stroke, its prevention, treatment, and recovery.
It brings together survivors, caregivers, health professionals, and communities to:
- Educate people about the warning signs of stroke
- Promote healthy lifestyles to reduce risk
- Support those recovering from stroke
The day also highlights the importance of early action, as quick medical response can save lives and reduce long-term disability. Events like community gatherings, health talks, and support programs (such as Talkshop) help encourage connection, hope, and ongoing recovery for stroke survivors.
