Stroke Day Fiji, observed on 23 May, is our dedicated national day for reaching out to communities across Fiji, and raising awareness about stroke, and especially its prevention. The first Stroke Day Fiji was observed on 23 May 2024 at the Laqere Market in Nasinu, and;
Stroke Day Fiji 2025 was observed at the Labasa Market.
The purpose of observing at local markets is to encourage and advocate with communities to eat healthier and local.
Our goal is to reach as many Fijians as possible with life-saving information about stroke prevention, warning signs, and what to do in an emergency. We work closely with health authorities and local partners to make Stroke Day Fiji a truly national event.
From remote communities to urban centres, Stroke Day Fiji brings the message of stroke prevention and hope to every corner of our island nation.
